I was hoping they would feature more here but it wasn't to be, maybe in the next installment. This time around Sweetcheeks, Pretty Boy and even Wills took a backseat within the story and what a pity because they livened things up in Houseboat on the Nile. Not My Spook continues to be suspenseful and taut with friction the crime and investigation is fabulous, I was on the edge of my seat throughout. I love them, every little flaw and idiosyncrasy along with the smart ass banter and sexual tension that hovers between them heavenly. I am in love with this series, it just keeps getting better and better IMO! Mark and Quinn push every button for me, I love how Mark tries so hard to be tough but practically melts when Quinn is on the scene its subtle but its there and boy does Mark try to fight it, he hasn't a hope in hell of escaping Quinn. The question is, will he find Quinn in time? He knows without a doubt he’ll find Quinn. Quinn may be a spook, but he’s Mark’s spook, dammit-and once he gets Quinn home, he intends to keep him.
It takes Quinn’s disappearance while investigating a rogue antiterrorism organization that results in Mark making up his mind. Meanwhile, something strange is going on in the intelligence community worldwide. Maybe this relationship thing with a spook isn’t such a bad idea. But Quinn does something no one else ever has-he comes after Mark. Once he realizes how close he's allowed Quinton Mann to get to him, he does what any self-respecting spy would do-he makes tracks out of there. But when Mark uses the excuse of going to Massachusetts for his mother’s funeral to end their relationship, Quinn’s not buying it.
There they are though, for a total of five glorious days. He’s astounded to discover himself in a relationship with Mark Vincent, not because Vincent is a man, but because he’s a top-rated WBIS agent. Quinton Mann, a highly ranked CIA officer, is used to being called the Ice Man.
